Use and booking terms
In short
- Turpronto is a website where you book tours and experiences offered by independent local businesses. The business named on the listing runs the experience.
- The contract for the experience is between you and the business. Turpronto concludes it and collects the price on the business’s behalf: paying Turpronto means you have paid the business.
- The price you see before paying is the total: our commission is paid by the business and is already included.
- Each experience has its own cancellation rule, shown on the listing and in the confirmation. If the business cancels, you get a full refund.
- For leisure activities on a specific date the law does not provide a 14-day withdrawal right: the experience’s cancellation rules apply.
- For any problem write to us from your account area: we normally reply within 2 working days.
Who we are
The website turpronto.com is run by Fala Noleggi SRL, VAT number 13160840016, Via Natale Sandre 22/A, 10078 Venaria Reale (TO), Italy (“Turpronto”, “we”). You can contact us by writing to info@turpronto.com, from your account area on the site (“Support” section) or by post at the address above. Further company details are in the Legal notice.
Scope
These terms apply to anyone using the site and to every booking made on Turpronto. The privacy notice and the conditions of each experience shown on its listing (for example requirements, meeting point and cancellation rule) also apply. If a business’s condition conflicts with these terms, the one more favourable to you applies.
These terms are designed for consumers, that is people booking for personal purposes. Nothing here limits the rights that the law grants you and that cannot be waived (the Italian Consumer Code, Legislative Decree 206/2005, and the laws of the country where you live). Businesses and partners have their own rules on separate pages.
What Turpronto does
Turpronto does not organise or run the experiences: the businesses offer and run them, and they are independent companies, not our employees or agents. When you book, the contract for the experience (“service contract”) is concluded directly between you and the business. Turpronto acts as the business’s agent: it is authorised to conclude the contract in the business’s name and on its behalf and to collect the price for it. Once payment succeeds you have paid the business and owe it nothing more, except any costs the listing says are payable on site.
For this service the business pays us a commission, already included in the price you see. If you came through a partner (for example your hotel), the partner receives part of our commission: your price does not change. Turpronto does not sell package travel: each experience is a separate service.
Descriptions, photos, prices and requirements of experiences are provided by the businesses, which are responsible for them. We check businesses and listings before publishing them, but we cannot verify every detail on site. Images created with artificial intelligence are labelled as illustrations.
How results are ranked
In search we first show experiences that can be booked right away; after that the order follows your choice: newest or recently updated (default), price, duration or distance from you. Filters (dates, category, price, language, hotel pick-up, free cancellation, accessibility…) narrow the results. No business can pay to appear higher and the commission does not affect the order.
Account
You can browse the site without an account; to book you need a personal account. You must be at least 18 and give true, up-to-date information. You may have only one account, which you cannot transfer to anyone else.
Keep your password safe and never share it: we will never ask for it. If you think someone is using your account, change it and write to us straight away. You can close your account at any time from the “Your data” section; bookings already confirmed remain valid.
How booking works
Choose the experience, date, time, option and participants, plus any extras or hotel pick-up. Before paying you see a summary with the business, date and time zone, total price, inclusions, requirements, meeting point and cancellation rule: check it carefully. The site always rechecks seats and price; while you pay, the seats are held for you for a few minutes.
By pressing the payment button you make a binding offer to the business. The contract is concluded when payment is verified and you receive the confirmation (by email and in your account area) with the voucher: returning from the payment page is not enough, the booking status is what counts. If the seats are no longer available meanwhile, no contract is concluded and you get a full refund. The contract is in Italian or English and remains available in your account area.
Some experiences run only with a minimum number of participants, shown on the listing: if the minimum is not reached by the stated decision date, the departure is cancelled and you get a full refund. If you book for other people, you confirm that you may do so and that you have told them about these terms and the requirements.
Prices and payment
Prices are in euros and include VAT and service costs. Any costs payable on site (for example local taxes or entrance fees) are shown on the listing. Prices in other currencies are for guidance only: you always pay in euros and your bank may apply an exchange rate or fee.
You pay when booking, using the methods shown at checkout. Payments are handled by Stripe, which also applies its own terms; we never see or store your card details. Discount codes are valid under the conditions stated with the code and cannot be exchanged for cash.
After payment you receive a payment confirmation. Any tax receipt or invoice for the experience is issued by the business, which is your supplier.
Date changes and cancellations
Each experience has one of these rules, shown on the listing, in the summary and in the confirmation:
- Free cancellation up to a stated number of hours before departure: if you cancel within that limit you get a full refund; after it, no refund.
- Non-refundable rate: there is no refund if you cancel.
- Cancellation on request: your request is reviewed and we tell you the outcome with the reason.
The limit is based on the departure’s time and time zone, and what counts is when your request reaches us. To cancel, open the booking in your account area. If you do not show up without cancelling, there is no refund. When the rule allows it you can change the date yourself at the same price from your account area; otherwise write to us.
Refunds go back to the payment method used. We start them as soon as the refund is approved and in any case within 14 days; the time to reach your account then depends on Stripe and your bank. A refund is complete when Stripe confirms it: you can see it in your account area. Details are on the “Cancellations and refunds” page.
If the business cancels or changes something
The business may cancel the experience because of bad weather, safety reasons, the minimum number of participants not being reached, orders from the authorities or other events beyond its control: in these cases we tell you as soon as possible and refund you in full. If it cancels for any other reason, we refund you in full anyway. The business may make small necessary changes (for example a nearby meeting point), communicated by email or in your account area; if the change is significant you may cancel with a full refund. The business may exclude anyone who does not meet the requirements on the listing or endangers themselves or others: in these cases there is no refund. Your rights against the business for a service not provided as promised remain unaffected.
Right of withdrawal
For contracts for leisure activities on a specific date or period, the law excludes the 14-day withdrawal right that applies to distance purchases (Article 59(1)(n) of the Italian Consumer Code; Article 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU). Experiences on Turpronto always have a date: instead, the experience’s cancellation rules apply, which are often more favourable. If we ever offer services without a specific date, the 14-day withdrawal right will apply to them and we will say so clearly.
On the day of the experience
Arrive on time at the meeting point in the confirmation, with the voucher (a phone is fine) and any documents required. Read the requirements (age, fitness, clothing, equipment) and always follow the safety instructions of the business and its guides. If you travel from abroad, travel documents and entry rules are your responsibility. The price does not include travel insurance unless the listing says otherwise: consider taking some, especially for outdoor or sports activities. The business is responsible for running the experience, its permits and safety.
Liability
Turpronto is responsible for its own service: the operation of the site, concluding bookings, collecting payments and refunds on the business’s behalf, and customer support, carried out with professional diligence. The business, as your supplier, is responsible for performing the experience; we will still help you exercise your rights against it. We do not exclude or limit our liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, for personal injury caused by us or where the law does not allow it (Articles 33 and 36 of the Italian Consumer Code and Article 1229 of the Civil Code). We do our best to keep the site available, but there may be interruptions for maintenance or faults.
Reviews
Only people who booked and completed an experience through Turpronto can review it: each review is linked to a real, completed booking. We publish positive and negative reviews, without payments or benefits in return, and show them newest first. The business may reply publicly.
Write only your genuine experience. False, offensive or discriminatory content, advertising, other people’s personal data and texts written at the request or expense of the business are not allowed. The business can report a review from its dashboard and anyone can do so by writing to support: we examine it and remove it only if it breaks these rules or the law. You remain the author and allow us, free of charge, to show and translate it on the site.
Proper use of the site
The site is for personal use. The following are not allowed: fake bookings or bookings made only to block seats, reselling bookings without agreement, fraud or using other people’s payment methods without permission, automated programs copying or downloading content (bots, scrapers), attempts at unauthorised access or to disrupt the service. Texts, graphics, brand and software of the site belong to Turpronto or their respective owners (the businesses for their photos and descriptions). In case of abuse we may block a booking or suspend the account, telling you why; legitimate bookings already confirmed remain valid.
Illegal content: reports and decisions
Under the EU Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, “DSA”) our single point of contact, for users and for authorities, is info@turpronto.com (for authorities also the certified email falanoleggi@pec.it). You can write to us in Italian or English.
Anyone, even without an account, can report content they believe is illegal (for example a listing, a photo, a review or a message) by writing to this contact. In the report please give:
- why you believe the content is illegal;
- the exact address of the page or content;
- your name and email, unless the report concerns child sexual abuse;
- a statement that what you write is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.
We confirm receipt of the report, examine it carefully and without undue delay, and tell you our decision and how to challenge it. Decisions are taken by our staff: we do not use automated systems to decide on reports or content.
If content is illegal or breaks these terms or the rules for businesses and partners, we may decline to publish it, remove it or reduce its visibility, block a booking, or suspend or close an account. We tell the person concerned the reasons, the facts the decision is based on and how to challenge it: you can reply to us within 6 months and we will review the decision, and you can always go to court. For businesses, the complaint system and mediation described in their rules also apply.
After a warning, we may for a period stop processing reports from anyone who frequently sends clearly unfounded ones. If we become aware of a criminal offence threatening people’s life or safety, we inform the authorities immediately.
AI assistant
When active, the AI assistant suggests experiences based on what you write. It can make mistakes: it does not invent availability, discounts or features, and a suggestion does not change the price or booking terms. Always check the listing and, for important needs (for example accessibility), ask the business to confirm. Do not write health information.
Support and complaints
For questions, problems or complaints write to us from your account area (“Support” section), with the booking code; we normally reply within 2 working days and also help you deal with the business. In an emergency on the day of the experience, use the business contact shown on the voucher. If we cannot find a solution, you may turn to a recognised alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body (Articles 141 and following of the Italian Consumer Code), whose involvement we will consider in good faith, or to the courts.
Governing law and courts
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of that country’s mandatory rules (EU Regulation 593/2008, Article 6). For disputes with a consumer, the courts of the place where the consumer lives have jurisdiction (Article 66-bis of the Italian Consumer Code and EU Regulation 1215/2012); for low-value claims within the European Union you may also use the European Small Claims Procedure.
Changes and final provisions
We may update these terms for changes in the service or the law; the date is shown at the top and we announce significant changes before they apply. Each booking remains governed by the terms in force when you made it. If a clause is invalid, the others remain valid. Communications take place by email or in your account area. The Italian text is the reference version; other languages are translations.
